For over 20 years, Philip has been involved in the formation and development of successful technology companies for the meetings, event and education industries. His passion is helping organizations implement large scale e-learning programs that can effectively deliver knowledge to the millions of professionals that have access to Blue Sky’s learning platforms throughout the world. Philip is responsible for the development and execution of the strategic plans of Blue Sky, including product offerings and strategic partnerships. Prior to Blue Sky, he co-founded Ascendent Systems, a leading developer of mobility voice communications for events and mobile workers. He helped file several patents and raised capital while orchestrating national strategic partnerships prior to merging the business with Blackberry (NYSE: BB). Philip graduated from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
Jeremiah oversees all company operations and is responsible for maintaining Blue Sky's progressive position in the marketplace. Since joining Blue Sky in 2005, Jeremiah has been instrumental in helping to create and improve our innovative suite of products and services. Jeremiah leverages his technical background and B.S. in Interactive Media Design, along with his strong working knowledge of the industry, to help create cutting-edge solutions for every client.
Jimmy oversees the live web event department and ensures client specifications are met. Jimmy has been in the multimedia and streaming industry since 2003. First joining Blue Sky soon after the company was founded, he implemented procedures that helped the company grow to reach the success we have achieved today. After moving to Washington DC in 2006, Jimmy worked for British Telecom as a streaming media producer specializing in signal acquisition, encoding and distribution to third-party CDNs. Jimmy returned to Blue Sky in 2007, bringing his knowledge of streaming live events online.
Jim is responsible for business development and strategic partnerships for Blue Sky's Life Sciences division. With over 17 years of experience in providing virtual meeting and web-based training solutions for pharmaceutical/biotech companies, CROs and medical agencies, Jim has become a respected thought leader in the industry. Jim is dedicated to working with clients to align their strategic objectives with the right combination of technology and project management to ensure optimal success.
Amy is the Vice President of Client Success at Blue Sky eLearn. She has been on the Blue Sky team since 2015 and working with clients in online education for over 17 years. She is your advocate at Blue Sky to ensure your organization achieves success by working with you strategically on ways to meet both your long and short term goals for continued growth. She shares industry best practices and current trends that may aid further success, and ensure overall client satisfaction with Blue Sky's products and services.
Amanda joined the Blue Sky team in 2018 bringing with her over 10 years of direct association experience. Since joining Blue Sky she has already made a lasting impact with her strong association background and deep education experience. Prior to joining Blue Sky, Amanda was an Association Executive with the NC Association of CPAs. During her tenure she built the online learning initiative, managed a team of learning and development professionals as well as a large pool of subject matter experts (SMEs) and grew the online initiatives revenue to over $1.6M, net new revenue, per year. After being engaged with a heavily regulated industry, Amanda understands complex regulation needs and can help navigate solutions within the platform, ultimately finding successful solutions for all involved. Amanda oversees all of our regulated CE business development initiatives; working closely with bar associations, as well as other legal and financial associations and organizations, that focus on continuing education.
Liam joined the Blue Sky team in 2019 as the Vice President of Association Solutions. With over 15 years of experience working with associations and non-profit organizations on a variety of technological projects, Liam brings a broad range of industry expertise and technical skill to the sales process. His in-depth knowledge of the association space allows him to communicate effectively to audiences no matter their background or experience level with technology. Additionally, Liam's project management history brings an attention to detail in the process of evaluation and solution development, ensuring that all Blue Sky clients can begin their journey on the right foot.
